Douglas has ten years of investment banking experience within the food industry. Herman specializes in acquisition and divestiture processes, transaction modeling and analytics and valuations. Herman also manages The Food Partners’ research department which explores transaction multiples, key financial ratios and industry and economic trends within the retail, distribution, input and manufacturing sectors. Herman’s transaction experience includes merger, acquisition and divestiture work both in and out of bankruptcy in the supermarket, food manufacturing and retail drug industries. Prior to joining The Food Partners, Herman worked at the World Bank Group. Herman has a Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis University and a MBA from the R.H. Smith School of Business and is fourth generation to the supermarket industry.
